I'm a full-stack developer based in Portland, Oregon. By day I work on distributed systems at a mid-sized SaaS company. By night — and honestly most weekends — I'm either tweaking my Neovim config, dialing in a pour-over recipe, or losing track of time in whatever game I'm currently obsessed with.
Dev Day Notes started as a private Notion doc where I kept track of tools, coffee beans, and games I wanted to remember. At some point I realized other people might find this stuff useful, so I turned it into a blog.
Code — Dev tools, editor configs, workflow experiments. Not tutorials per se — more like field notes from someone who's always fiddling with their setup.
Play — Gaming impressions, mostly indie and mid-tier titles. I'm interested in game design as much as the games themselves.
Finds — The interesting stuff I stumble across: coffee brands, review sites, tools, blogs. The internet is full of great things hidden behind bad SEO.
This site is static HTML hosted on Cloudflare Pages. No analytics, no cookies, no newsletter popup. Just text on a screen, the way blogs used to be.
